Looks like online classes are here to stay but do not fret! Spanish Guacamaya has some tips to turn your classes into an online environment!
1) Use a learning management systema also known as (LMS)
Learning management systems are key for a successful online teaching and there are may out there that you can use for free, specifically Google Classroom! Even though it is not considered one officially, Google Classroom has a lot of features that can make your class organized and connected even when you do not see your students everyday!
2) Use activities that can be transportable and usable anywhere!
For this you can use a simple word document or a pdf if your students have access to pdf apps that allow them to write on them. You can also use google apps like google docs, slides, sheets, jam, drive and others that will make your life easier as a teacher. Google apps can be edited anywhere as long as your students have a connection to internet and are easy and intuitive to use!
3) The power of videos!
Do not forget the power of videos, which can be a great help to differentiate your content. You can be helping a few students, while others are watching a video of the same topic !
