What Back to school Spanish resources to buy for 2021?

As we all know the pandemic is not over and we as teachers must be ready for whatever may come. Resources are the backbone of our instruction so we might be asking ourselves now: What are the best Spanish resources to buy for 2021 while the pandemic is still part of our lives? Online or traditional resources?

As an online teacher I have a strong need for online resources but even if I was an in person teacher I would still have the need for online resources: Why? Because this emergency teaching panorama is not coming to an end and Covid did nothing but accelerate the new era of teaching which is online resources. Now, are the online resources the only ones we should consider for our classroom? The most logical answer is no. Learning materials should not only be limited to online resources if we have the chance to be in person teachers. Online resources have their charm and printable resources also have still a bing impact in our classroom. Print resources give us the the chance to stablish an scenario where students have to leave behind technology and think on their own , stablish more interactive and vivid communications with others and develop more creativity considering the fact that they have to use other resources that do not have a connection to browsers.

We teachers have the power to make the resources work for us, the way we want them to work and we can make a resource digital or printable according to our needs so at the moment of deciding which one is better, we should consider that we can always make a resource even better when we are teaching.

Let us not forget that our job as educators is to keep expanding our knowledge and keep acquiring new skills that will allow us to mold resources the way we want. Some tools that can help us are: Google workplace, classkick, LMS and platforms that can make pdf's into a fillable document online like easel from Teachers pay teachers. Yes, a single document like a pdf can be transformed into an online tool, so we do not depend solely on printers to make our class work.

With this in mind, I have dedicated my time to create Spanish back to school resources that can fulfill both teacher needs: printable and digital resources. I have used them in my Spanish classroom and they for sure can be a tremendous help for any teacher returning to school this 2021. Take a look at some of them and check if they can be useful in your classroom and needs as well:
